50MW Wind Power Expected In Pulupandan, Philippines

Philippines, Negros Occidental – The town of Pulupandan will soon get a taste of clean energy from wind turbines that are set to produce 50 megawatts (MW) of wind power by the end of 2015. This huge project is funded by a Filipino-owned power generation firm.

ERC Approved Fit-in Tariff Rates For PH’s Renewable Energy Sources

Philippine Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), announced the approval of the initial FiT (Feed-in Tarrifs) that applies to all generated energy from renewable energy sources (RES) particularly Hydro, Biomass, Wind, and Solar. ERC however, didn’t fix the FiT or OTEC (Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion) Resources for further research and study.
